hp laserjet 1012 in windows 8:
hp says this printer is no longer supported in windows 8, and there are no drivers. but, i noticed the hp site specifies the 1012 as a pcl5 printer. i looked in the driver list when you go to install this printer, and i found a pcl5 driver for the laserjet 2200. i installed it, but pointed it to my laserjet 1012, and it worked. it printed the test page just fine.
